"Molly"

Molly is a 4 year old standard labradoodle. She has a very sweet, quiet disposition. She is ever so loyal. Molly happily greets everyone that she meets. She has a non-shedding wool coat. Molly would fit in to any family situation. She will only have 2 more litters for us before her retirement.

"Mackenzie"

Mackenzie or Kenzie is a 2 1/2 year old standard labradoodle. Mackenzie is quite a character. She loves her people to death and just wants to sit on us at every moment. She loves to fetch as well. She is our girl and sometimes takes a little bit to warm up to new people. I have no doubt that she will attach herself very quickly to a new family. Mackenzie does not like smaller dogs, so a home where she is the only dog, or if you have a big dog that is fine too.

If you are potentially interested in taking the 'twins' Mackenzie and Lola together, please email me. This is my preference, but I understand that it may be difficult to find the perfect family for both of my girls together.

What is a Guardian Home?
A guardian home is basically a permanent home for one of our breeding girls or boys. In order to continue breeding, we cannot keep every single girl and boy in our home for their lifetime. Yes there are many lifers who do stay with us forever, but we cannot keep everyone and still have puppies. It is for this reason that we seek out guardian homes. We place either a puppy or adult that we would like to continue breeding with into a family home. After passing pre-breeding tests, a guardian dog will come back to us to whelp a litter of puppies. This is a way that our adult dogs can be a part of a family. Once the dog has whelped and raised her litter, she will return to the guardian family. After the contract has been fulfilled, the dog will be spayed/neutered and placed in the guardian family's home. Ownership will be transferred to the guardian family.

For the males, the dog will have to be available to us for breeding at certain times of the year. He can either visit us for a short time of the day or we can keep him here for a few days.

Is there a cost for a Guardian Home?
No, however, you must be willing to work with us to fulfill the contract. You must also be within a few hours drive to us. We are pretty flexible on distance!

How many litters will my dog have?
This depends on the age of the dog. Usually our guardian dogs have 1-4 litters, and males are in the guardian home program until they are 5-6 years old.

How do I apply to be a guardian home?
First off, there are requirements to be a guardian family. We don't just place our dogs with anyone hoping to get a free dog. We prefer that there is another dog in the family. This is not a requirement but a preference. We do however require that the dog is not left at home for 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. Home offices are a plus! Our preference is that someone is home for most of the day - a stay at home parent or a retired couple. Our dogs are used to someone being home for the majority of the day. They love attention and love all ages! Please send us an email or give us a call regarding becoming a guardian family!
